the peranakan museum.
The trip there was a fruitful one. It was fun and I found out that a wedding ceremony for them can actually last up to 12 days. Imagine that! It's somewat similar to that of the chinese except for the nasi lemak given to the bride once proven she's virgin after marraige. Well, I dint expect the trip there to impart a lit knowledge to mi. It seems like there is so much more customs and practises for them. DEspite them being the miniority in Singapore, the peranakan sprit is still there. They realli do put in effort to carry on their tradition and I admire them for the continuity of it. It will be sad to see them extinct.
